Reflections on the Son

When I first believed on Christ as my Savior, I failed also to make Him my Lord. Salvation involves both: Savior and Lord (Romans 10:9,10) It was years later before I finally made Him my Lord. While believing on Christ is like falling in love, without the relationship, it's shallow and one-sided - like loving someone from a distance. Christ wants a relationship with us, and we should want the same thing. When we draw near to Him, He draws near to us. He is our best friend and the lover of our soul. We should be closer to Him than anyone. I hope these articles help you to get to that place. Contact me with comments and your own reflections. - Waitsel
